A creditor report revealed that directors of Brindabella Christian Education Ltd spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on robot dogs and travel overseas, causing the company to owe millions of dollars in tax debt and fail to pay employee pensions, which occurred during the company's bankruptcy. A new report filed by Deloitte's bankruptcy administrator in March 2025 points to a series of possible violations of the Company Act, some of which could lead to criminal prosecution by directors headed by board chairman Greg Zwajgenberg. The Reform BCC, an organization that has raised these issues for many years, welcomed the report and hoped to hold the company's directors and executives accountable. "The biggest question is accountability for these directors, one of whom is an outstanding figure in Canberra's legal circle," the report said.
