The second CTV (crew transfer vessel) type vessel built by the Ocea shipyard for the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm has entered service. The Moti'Vent was delivered to Eolien Maritime France (EDF Renewables and Enbridge) and will be operated, like its sistership the Inno-Vent, by LD Tide, a joint company of Louis Dreyfus Armateurs and the British company Tidal Transit Limited. For the record, the Inno-Vent was received by GE Renewable Energy during the summer of 2022. A third unit, Capti’Vent, must still be delivered by Ocea for a contract with GE.
